I really cannot fault this lovely Guesthouse. It was a last minute find and extremely clean, comfortable and welcoming. We got the last double available, which was on the 2nd floor, but this just meant that it was superbly quiet - apart from the seagulls! Brighton is NOT cheap and therefore I think the Seafield House offers good value for... More

As much as I enjoyed the lovely room with the welcoming drinks and chocolates, the room was also spacious and the bed pretty comfortable, the breakfast was plentiful although the coffee was a disappointment as the coffee grindings fond their way in my cup. My big gripe came when my daughter went to have a bath, as she lowered herself... More

My sister and I stayed here in two rooms for 3 nights in mid Feb. It is more a nice guest house than a hotel as it has just 15 rooms and no public space except the breakfast room. The staff were pleasant and helpful, the whole building including the breakfast room, the bedrooms and bathrooms was scrupulously clean and... More

We have just spent 2 nights at the Seafield Hotel 8th-9th Feb 2013. On arrival everything was exactly as we had requested including the FREE off-road parking space that we had asked for. The guy in reception (Frank) was very welcoming and helpful, nothing is too much trouble for him. The particular room we had requested was ready for us... More

This guest house, which is actually in Hove, not Brighton is a good place to stay if you are in the area. It is just off of Church Road, Hove, which is quite a busy street with a good choice of bars and restaurants. If you are desperate to go into Brighton, you can walk, although it is a good... More

On the back of several positive reviews, my wife and I booked into the Seafield prior to Xmas. I'm happy to agree with comments regarding the staff's attentive and friendly nature, the cleanliness of the property and the comfort of our room. I would suggest, if you drive, that you maybe email in advance as there are a few parking... More

We were very impressed with this guest house, the staff were fantastic and the room was nice and clean. Loved how soft the carpet was and the bed was really comfy! We stayed in the Brunswick room on the top floor. We really felt at home there and the cooked breakfast was really good. A special thank you to the... More

Right on the seafront which was lovely but a bit of a walk to Brighton pier. Room was very clean, nice touches with chocolate on the pillows and half a bottle of wine. Bathroom very small, but that's being fussy. Tasty breakfast with a good selection from full English to fruit & cereal. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Would stay... More

Street dire but hotel is as in photo, clean reception, bed looks great with cushions on but cobwebs, dirty taps, extremely bad workmanship all around. Shower stinking of bleach but cracks everywhere with a toilet but omg u have to come out and wash your hands at otherside of room-disgusting. Heater won't turn off so had to put fan on.... More
