I dont normally repy to reviews but feel this one needs puting right. When you book a room for 4 people you expect 4 people to turn up not 5 as happened in this case, (the reason the lady left her family in the car and came to pay was so that I could not then refuse to take the... More

We rented the cottage at the back, which has just been restored to perfect condition. Had to walk 20m to the main hotel for breakfast, but the breakfast was amazing as was the service and degree of care shown to all guests. Thanks very much, we will be back most definitely.

Having mobility problems means I have to consider accessibility and location above all else when choosing holiday accommodation. Luckily, Landsdowne Villas have a huge accessibility statement on their website which made things very easy for me. :o) Hopefully my review will make it easy for other people with mobility issues. We were warmly welcomed on arrival by our hosts and... More

Just spent 2 nights at the Villas. Room 8 - Family Room. Positives: + Internet access was fast (we were in room 8 over the router) + Hosts were lovely - Helen and Martin gave us some lovely stories of their prior life in Naunton and some not to miss towns in the Cotswolds (Castle Combe being one - used... Had 1 night here in May 2011. Location was about 200m from the edge of the centre of the village, only a few minutes walk. No problem parking in the car park right outside the hotel. Room was pretty good, nicely presented. The breakfast was pretty good, if I recall correctly. Boughton itslef is very nice, badly commercialised but then... More

Stayed here at fairly short notice cos of price (good) & previous reviews on TripAdvisor. Room quite comfy & clean, but decor dated. Bathroom layout a bit awkward & unable to turn the bath taps on without being in the bath cos of the fixed shower screen. The hot water was absolutely scalding, even when it was tempered with cold... Dangerous bathroom, scalding! water. Taps virtually unaccessable for bath. No emergency call bell in bedroom but downstairs, two flights. Fire hazard on staircase and lack of suitable lighting and handrails. Unsuitable for less able or elderly. Breakfasts - lack of choice, no imagination or offer of vegetarian, continental breakfast. Fear that owners could face compensation claim, see above. With attention... More

Guest house is near to village with plenty of parking, which is such an advantage with limited spaces in the centre of Bourton. We had the last room which was on the top floor. Small room with only a four foot bed. Yes the decor needs updating but its the best price in the village. If the decor means a... More

This is a great spot in the Cotswolds and this B&B represents very good value for money. The rooms were comfortable and well furnished and the breakfast service was the most efficient I have experienced.
