My friend and I have just ot back from a short break in Bourton on the Water. We stayed at The Mousetrap Inn for the evening. Our twin room was great, comfortable beds and great shower. The beer and the food served here is exceptional. You need to book as it is always busy which to me proves the excellent... More

We ate lunch here on a Saturday lunchtime. We had been visiting BOTW but decided we didn't want to eat right in the middle of town with the tourist madness. We found this pub on the way outskirts. Good beer choice, varied menu, outside seating in the sunshine. Food was fine, scampi for me and bacon and tomato roll for... More

We stayed at the Mousetrap over Easter 2012. Our room was very comfortable, clean and warm, and extremely good value for money. (Price included breakfast). We opted to eat in most nights, and the menu, though small, is very well varied, and would suit most tastes. And the food is delicious!!! The waiter was very courteous and helpful (we wanted... More

Just back from a 2 night stay at the Mousetrap. The Inn is well situated about 5 mins walk from Bourton's famous "mini bridges" and importantly in the Cotswolds had private parking for all rooms. We were in an outside "motel style room" which was good sized with plenty of storage, and containing a king-size bed. Ensuite was not overly... More

We stayed at the Mousetrap Inn for my birthday , it's a lovley Inn with B&B , we had a wonderful stay , it's a stones throw away from town. We eat at the Mousetrap inn for dinner , it is wise to book a table as it gets very busy, the food was tasty , and cooked fresh, the... More

We went to stay at The Mousetrap Inn, as it was listed in the Good Beer guide as a pub with rooms, so we knew at least the drink would be OK.We knew Bourton from previous visits but couldn't remember seeing The Mousetrap Inn, and it took us a little time to find it,having come from completely the opposite direction... The only reason we have rated this average, is because we both believe it falls somewhere between average and very good! The rooms were clean, and as previous reviewers have stated the beds were really comfy, however the best way to describe the decor was that it was a bit tired. The shower was hot and the towels were clean... More

We agree with the view that the landlord was very friendly and chatty. He even phoned to say we had left a nikon lens behind and will post it to us. Very good service. The beds were the comfiest we have slept in over the last few years and the breakfasts were great. The evening menu was varied and tasty.... More
