Convenient to Bourton. Very clean and comfortable room. We were made to feel very welcome and the food was excellent. We ate here 2evenings out of our 3night stay and both times the choice was good and variable. All freshly home cooked. Lovely atmosphere. Good choice of walks all around Bourton. Good value.

The Moustrap Inn is lovely located within Bourton-on-the-Water which is a tourist destination mainly for Chinese buses ... My company booked me into it because of a customer meeting around the corner and I was thrilled to see a pub on the trip expecting lovely scenery, good food and typical English style setup. My college and I had room 6... More

We were staying in a B & B just down the road from the Mousetrap and had been recommended to eat here! Unfortunately we hadn't booked even though it was only 6.30pm there were no tables until at least 8pm. The landlord managed to squeeze us in but then we were treated like 2nd class citizens waiting about 40mins for... More

A little unpromising from the outside appearance - could do with a external paint & spruce-up - but the rooms were comfortable clean and perfectly acceptable. Bar decent range of real ales & very adequate food. Mine host a little old fashioned but very accomodating once the ice is broken.

We visited this pub for Sunday lunch whilst meeting up with my husbands daughter, son in law and 15 month old granddaughter. The pub was almost empty the menu was small but adequate and we all went for roast beef. Unfortunately the beef, whilst looking good was in fact impossible to cut even with a steak knife and none of... More

Very good location, just a short walk from the centre of Bourton on the Water. Rooms are small and basic but price reasonable so can't complain. Bed nice and big (two single beds together size) and rooms very quiet. Some mould growing in wardrobe so afraid to hand clothes up as may get a musty smell. Food in pub very... More

We stayed at the Mousetrap Inn in February and we had a great time. The room was clean and warm, the bed was comfortable and the ensuite had recently been refurbished. Maids changed towels everyday and cleaned the bathroom etc. Breakfast was served at a reasonable time and there was a good selection of cereal and hot food to choose... More

We have just returned from a weekend break with friends to celebrate a birthday. We arrived on late Friday afternoon and were shown to our rooms. Our friends were in the main building, we were out in the annex bit. Our room was spacious, warm and clean. We had a lovely big bed and there was ample room to put... More
