This hotel stepped in when I was let down by a nearby hotel which couldn't provide the spa facilities I had requested for both myself and my daughter. The staff couldn't be more helpful.. The room was lovely. The breakfast was fab. They also do brilliant girlie special weekends.

We dined one evening and were very impressed with the quality of the food and the attentive but unobtrusive service. However, I did not appreciate the service charge being added onto the bill especially for a table of 2 and in fact, had they not done this they would have actually received a larger tip.
