I was disappointed for the following reasons. *single room was pokey and not worth the rate charged, no chair, no desk. *emailed prior to visit to confirm parking, staff knew nothing and so wasted money in meter. *staff did not know wireless code. *No spoon or glass in room. *Observation, lots of staff but no training.

Stayed here with my wife for the week of the Cheltenham festival. Mark and his staff made us feel very welcome. The room was basic but very comfortable. Breakfast was fabulous and huge! In fact I'd highly recommend the food, we ate in the pub on a couple of evenings and everything we had was great.

We stayed here the night before th Gold Cup. Delightful old pub with recently refurbished rooms - very clean and spacious. Room wasn't cheap, but where is during Cheltenham week? Breakfast was excellent - and enormous! Road where the pub is located was "closed" due to gas works, but it is possible to park outside if you are lucky!
