Recently stayed here on the couples special rate of over night stay, cream tea on arrival, eight course taster menu with 'wine flight' and Cotswold breakfast in the morning. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Despite being warned about 'Weekend Weddings' we found the room comfortable and quiet. The highlight of the stay however has to be the evening meal.... More

This is a very nice hotel with attentive and pleasant staff for whom nothing was too much trouble. Although on the busy main road, it is set back and traffic noise wasn't an issue at any time. The rooms were clean and well appointed. The super king size bed was 'turned down' whilst we were eating our evening meal. We... More

I booked the Mulberry restaurant for my wifes birthday and invited her sister and father in law. Friendly staff, great cocktails nice venue, lovely hotel but over priced food. The starters were OK then a couple of extra taster dishes that were OK, I would have expected home made bread! My main was very dissapointing it arrived on a slate... More

We booked at the last minute to stay one night at the Manor House Hotel and got areally good deal for dinner, bed and breakfast. The room, although up in the eaves of the hotel was very characterful, comfortable and well appointed with a nice bathroom. It was very quiet with a view out over the main street. All the... More

This is a gem of a hotel - friendly staff, lovely atmosphere, lovely room, fantastic gardens. Breakfasts are excellent, evening meals - portions are a little on the small side but thats my only gripe. Gluten intolerant menus are also provided if needed. Best room in the hotel is the library - very cosy and with a real log fire.... More

Had an overnight stay in this hotel last weekend. Started with afternoon tea & was followed by the 8 course tasting menu, not as scary as it sounds! Very small beautifully presented courses which tasted exquisite. We really enjoyed the ambience and friendly service we received and the eating experience lasted from 7.30pm until 11.00pm with coffee & petit four... More

We booked a Gourmet food package and arrived on Friday afternoon for a good quality cream tea. Our room was a Superior and was very comfortable, with Moulton Brown goodies, TV and tea/coffee/biscuits. Room size was modest, tucked into the roof, and with sloping ceilings and was a very long walk along several corridors but this added character and charm.... More

Have just had a few days in this hotel to unwind. After reading reviews on Trip Advisor before we went, we were not sure what to find. What we did find was an excellent hotel with friendly staff, good facilities, superb food & a lovely atmosphere!! Dinner was served in a very pleasant dining room with lovely linen on the... More

We booked a night in a fourposter room to celebrate my partner's birthday. I asked for a quiet room and we were delighted to get Room 8 at the back with a view over the garden. Huge, high four poster bed with a lovely comfy mattress, gorgeous window seat with a view over the garden and very peaceful but the... More

First Impressions, beautiful, very tasteful decor, cosy areas to sit, open fire in lobby. Staff very nice. Room, small, clean, very nice, not fantastic quality mattress, nothing wow but everything you need, view over a flat roof. The area is beautiful, lots af antiques shops, art galleries, nice places to eat, drink and walk. We had a single nights stay,... More
