Nice individual rooms, very friendly staff and a decent breakfast. Location is great for the seafront and the shops / pubs in Southsea. Parking can be tricky, try Auckland Road East / West and borrow a permit from the hotel.

With 4 poster bed, free wifi, and great food this is a superb alternative to the chains. In a quiet location, though parking can be a challenge, this is good value for money. Only one downside , I could not use my company Amex.

I only spent a single night here, on a business trip. The room was excellent - very comfortable - and I particularly liked the free wi-fi (only available et extra cost in a lot of the hotels I use). Breakfast was included in the rate and was very nice - high quality ingredients used.
