The Farmhouse is a budget hotel in need of updating. Restaurant has an off putting stale smell..! BUT if your after a budget hotel for a quick stay, the staff are friendly and the rooms are a good size. WiFi was also included with the room rate.

This hotel kinda does what it says on the can. It's not anywhere central, but reasonably easy to find, and with free parking that is enticing enough. Has a pub on site (didn't sample). The reception is friendly enough, however the hotel didn't appear to have a lift, which made it difficult to get to the first floor with cases.... More

This is not the most luxurious hotel in the world but it is pleasant, has friendly staff, an attached restaurant and is inexpensive. We have stayed here a few times and have always had a good experience It is in a quiet part of town so noise at night was not a problem.

Stayed for one night and we were pleasantly surprised. The staff were very welcoming, the room was clean and warm. We had a small issue with another guest, which was sorted out within minutes, we moved to another room. Everyone was very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast in the morning was fresh, hot and a brilliant selection... More

Well this really is you get what you pay for - and I paid £35 for a bed for the night! Now in terms of money I have absolutely no complaint - but frankly had I spent a penny more I would have felt short changed. The room was a family room and I guess for a night or 2... More

The exec.rooms are spacious and have a settee. The staff were very helpful in changing a pre paid booking due to a car breakdown. Easy access to IOW ferry and 15-20 mins from cross channel port. Food is not spectacular rather typical chain pub menu at a reasonable price.

Stayed one night when catching an early morning ferry. Helpful and friendly staff Very big, comfortable room, mostly very clean but a few corners need a scrub. Paid extra for the optional breakfast, not the best and rather small.

This hotel needs a really deep clean everywhere especially the toilets near the main bar, sticky tables, floors which your shoes stick too ... yuck yuck. Very rude reception staff was the last straw. Bar staff good thou. Avoid.
