Stayed here one night while watching a comedy show. The owner was lovely and very welcoming. The room had everything we needed and was very clean. Bed was comfortable. The breakfast the next morning was lovely. Very good value for money.

We stayed as a family group at Landguard Lodge: older grandparents in a twin room and mum/aunt and two children in a family room. All you could ask for. The room was very clean and warm and the TV worked perfectly. The bathroom appeared to be newly installed and the towels were crisp and well cleaned. Had a great night's sleep and then the breakfast was amazing. I already booked again for next week.

Spotlessly clean,very well equiped room and bathroom, friendly staff,good breakfasts only about 1/2 kmwalk to top half of town centre.

We have had B&B at Landguard Lodge three times so far and wouldn't go anywhere else. V clean, fairly large room, v big good breakfast, ok staff, only 4 channels on tv, found bed v soft and bouncy, no lounge, about 10 mins walk n of station, about another 10 mins to town from there. Not a place to go for luxury but if want a clean b and b for night or two then fine
