We stayed at the feathers for two nights in June. We had high expectations given the information and pictures on the website and the price per room. We found that over all the rooms were quite small and not well equipped . The dining experience in the restaurant was just okay but the high cost of the starters and puddings... More

Dear "Tibo77" Thank you for your review on tripadvisor.com. We are very proud of our new look website and think it gives a fair representation of what we offer here at The Feathers Hotel. I am sorry that you found your room smaller but due to your animosity I cannot help with the specific room that you stayed in. We... More

Our party of four thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. We were offered a confit duck appetiser which was very tasty. My chicken liver & black pudding starter was very good & there were no complaints from our table about their starters. Four Hereford beef fillet steaks followed, cooked to our particular requirements, all first class. The chocolate platter dessert is... More

We dined at The Feathers a few weeks back, an organised works meal. From arrival we were greeted by the friendly and helpful staff, whilst waiting to be seated at our table we enjoyed drinks in the bar/lounge area and were given time to select our meal choices. We were offered an appetiser (Lamb with tomato hummus dip) which was... More

We had some difficulties in making our requirements understood when booking this on-line and it took a few goes to sort out who was having double beds, single beds and for how many nights. We subsequently stayed here for a family party in March. The hotel itself was authentic and sympathetically modernised. Our room was small but clean. TV reception... More

Dear MKFD, Thank you for your review. I am glad that overall you enjoyed your experience at The Feathers. I am a little upset with the reason for your disappointment. We have been awarded 3 AA stars and not four. We are an old coaching inn that has been run by the same family for the past 40 years. At... More

The Feathers Hotel is a charming building. Ledbury is a lovely place to visit with many interesting shops and an old beautiful church. I have eaten here many times in the past 20 years but lunch eaten a couple of weeks ago was disappointing. When we arrived the visit appeared promising. There was a lovely warm fire in the bar.... Dear Hilary, Thank you for your review. I am very pleased that you enjoyed our lovely Town. Ledbury is indeed a special place. There are many cobbled alleyways to explore, beautiful scenery and surroundings and we are especially proud of all of our independent shops. I am sorry, however, to hear of your experience in Fuggles Brasserie. Fuggles has been... More

We stayed at The Feathers Hotel for a couple of nights just after Christmas and had a fantastic time. It is comfortable with all the modern facilities you need, without losing it's charm and character - it is an impressive black and white building with lots of period features. The staff are very friendly, approachable and efficient, and made life... More

Staid 2 nights at the Feathers. Quite expensive, As promised the floorboards squeaked. Some of the woodwork might have been genuinely antique, but a lot was a modern unnecessary addition. For the price the room was small, adequate for a short stay. The breakfast menu was limited for an alleged 4 star hotel. I was amazed that the solidary breakfast... More

We stayed in a very small room in an old"authentic" bed-it was a vono divan from about 1970! The bed was so out of kilter that I put bibles under two legs to level it! The road noise necessitated ear plugs. Breakfast was acceptable but I do like hot food! We ate in the Quills one evening and this was... More

Treated ourselves to dinner on our 38th Wedding Anniversary - which coincides with Valentines day - so had a very romantic evening with red roses and scattered rose petals on the table and menus scrolled and tied with red ribbon.
