Stay with my other half as a treat for her Birthday. Let just say she was impressed and very pleased with the surprise. It was pricy but worth every penny. The staff was great the room was great, the breakfast was great It was a perfect stay.

The hotel is family run, the whole place is very clean with so much character. We had a great stay and we love Canterbury especially the breakfast was fantastic and lots. We wonder what Charles Dickens felt staying there all those years ago. Will definitely go back to the Sum hotel when we visit Canterbury.

Unique and charming place in a very central but quiet location, just seconds from the cathedral entrance. I couldn't have wished for a more comfortable stay, my only regret was that my stay was for just the one night.
