Clean Room. Very basic Double En-Suite. Excellent Breakfast. Above Pub/Restaurant with good home cooked food made it convenient
I dont like to give a negative review so I'll start with the positives - I would echo all the good things about the property such as spotlessly clean and spacious room, ample parking, convenient to amenities and tourist spots. We would add that the cooked breakfasts were delicious beautifully cooked each morning of our three night stay and although...

Spent two nights here with friends visiting museums in the medway area. The hotel is clean and tidy and the staff very friendly. Bar area was quite busy and there wasn't much seating inside. Too cold to venture out on the balcony. Beer was reasonably priced and the food menu quite good. The hotel also boasts a Co-op and Chippy...

We stayed three nights with our German friends and the accommodation was perfect for our needs. We wanted somewhere very clean and comfortable with good bathrooms which it was. The price was good for what we had and the breakfasts excellent. We had an evening meal in the bar which was good value for money and adequate for our needs....

On Check-in we were informed that it is not a hotel (despite the name) but an inn! Apparently this means there is no night porter or anyone in the building after 11pm except paying guests. Unfortunately we had an obnoxious, drunk, loud couple in the next room to us. As the walls were paper-thin they may as well have been...

Room was large, clean and airy, and the bed was comfortable. There was a continuous roar from a nearby vent - probably from the kitchen - which was OK once I'd convinced myself that I was really on a ship or train. On the first morning the staff had forgotten to note that I'd asked for a paper. Food was...

Stayed for two nights as a base to visit historic dockyard and RE museum. A lively pub situated on the side of the Marina. Ten minutes walk from dockyard, thirty minutes walk from RE museum. Room was fairly small but comfortable. Good shower. Very good full English breakfast but our evening meal wasn't as tasty. (I had sweet and sour...

The location is OK, very near the Historic Dockyard. Rooms are spacious enough and sympatheticly decorated. Parkingspace is available, but insufficient because it is used by all the shoppers for the Outletcenter nearby. Service wasn't really good. But the most annoying part : it was NOISY in the bar, the restaurant, on the terraces, the airco/ventilation.....
This is a nice pub / hotel.
Rooms are clean and tidy, though they do have an unusual geography with steps just inside the door making them unsuitable for disabled. I spent a comfortable night, though as someone commented, it can be quite noisy on a nice evening when there's a lot of people sitting outside.
It is worth remembering...

Only stayed one night, but would do so again without hestitation. Rooms looked like new. They were clean, fresh and comfortable. The welcome was very friendly. The food was good standard pub fare which could be eaten in the bar area or the upstairs restaurant. Although busy the service was prompt and attentive. The location was excellent for many local...
