Stayed here in mid-December for two nights. Accommodation good, comfortable and clean, with all that I needed. Breakfast excellent and dinner equally good. Real ales in excellent condition. Staff friendly and helpful. Location by the lake and access to the rest of the Lake District makes this a good choice for a few nights or for longer.

Stayed here for the Great North Swim. Booked a family room/Ground floor. Very happy with our stay and restaurant made a nice fuss around my partners birthday. Excellent location,very clean and friendly staff. Considering another stay around xmas time?
