Was well looked after again by Alan and Sue from start to finish. If you want a very nice family-run B&B then the Broadview is your best bet==we were 2 couples who shared 2 rooms with adjoining bathroom on the 3rd floor. It was very nice but rather close quarters if you were strangers !!! Wonderful hosts with a super breakfast=would definitely stay again

On first look this B&B isn't up to much, being on the main road into Ambleside and opposite the Hays Garden Centre. Parking is 200m away, but with the bonus of a parking pass valid all over the south lakes so the minor inconvenience of parking up the road is outweighed by the saving on car parking during your stay...
