I stayed at the quest house at the end of April 2012, I found my room to be warm, clean and very comtortable, excellent staff and service. Great value for money, fantastic location. The weekend went too fast but I'm hoping to book again soon. I will definitly stay here again.

We can highly recommend the Wanslea guesthouse. The food and service was excellent. The room was perfect. we had the african room with a wonderful spa bath. we will definatelty be returning. A bonus is it is a couple of mins walk to the centre of Ambleside. Give them a call you wont be disappointed.

Stayed here for a weekend and will definately come again. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were comfortable and clean and we had a great nights sleep both nights. This was topped off with a very hearty breakfast to prepare you for a day of walking. Would recommend this place to anyone staying the lake district.
