Lakes Lodge is ideally situated in Ambleside with good access to all the best walks, pubs and restaurants. The breakfast every morning was wonderful. Lovely room, great breakfast and probably the friendliest and most helpful staff I have come across in a hotel. Room was spotless. Trust me, I checked everywhere!
