Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Croyden, and thanks to Diana, Ian and Anthony for their warm welcome and hospitality. The bedrooms are a tad small, but the beds were very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was excellent, with more than enough to fill us up for the long walk ahead!

I would not recomend this hotel to anyone. not a warm welcome at all . not very professional (room not ready after 3 hours) I would not rate this hotel bad experince ended up having to stay somewhere else

was greated by the new owners who were very friendly and welcoming. however, the full english was a disapointment.

Stayed here with my wife and our friend for 2 nights towards the end of October and found it to be a very pleasant and comfortable place to stay. The owners were new and very helpful at all times. The breakfast was also good. I would return here without hesitation and the central location is also very good

Stayed at Croyden house with 5 fellow motorcyclists. Made very welcolme! Secure parking at the rear. En suite(Rm 7) a little tight., however very clean and tidy. Breakfast was excellent. It's central location is a massive plus! I would return!

Not a warm and friendly welcome as stated. Breakfasts were poor and luke-warm. Towel was stained and had a hole in it. Central location was the only positive point, NOT good value for money.

This is a good B&B and close to both the main road and to the bus station (about a minute's walk) . The room was comfortable and the breakfasts were good.

My father and I stayed here for three nights in September and both thoroughly enjoyed the warm welcome, comfortable accommodation and lovely breakfasts. Croyden House is brilliantly located in the centre of Ambleside and we had no problem with parking at all. I have no idea what the one negative review was talking about - not our experience at all!... More
