Lacet house is a hidden Jewel - perfectly located for exploring Ambleside or catching a bus to other places. Parking was a real bonus too! The accomodations are clean and surprisingly quiet for being in town. Graham & Catherine are charming and very welcoming! Breakfast was always delicious with lots of options!

When booking I searched lacet house for reviews and all seemed very good so me and my partner were excited to visit but it failed to meet our expectations unfortunately! The good part was having the option to have breakfast in bed which was nice! £70 was just a bit expensive for the size of room and the facilities..

Wonderful, peaceful stay in a beautiful room with perfect breakfasts. The most wonderful dippy boiled eggs every morning (even though they weren't originally on the breakfast menu, they were very kind to grant my special request). Lovely clean room, very spacious and warm, felt more like a luxury hotel than a B and B! Wonderful - thank you!
