Don't be put off by the muddy track to get there, it is well worth it! There are great views of the river to be had with a cup of tea. The place is very tidy and clean, the manager is very helpful and has extensive local knowledge with several personally written guides to pubs, restaurants and places to visit....

Perfect for an overnight pit stop, the property is dated but it is kept very clean and tidy and we where informed it was ran by volunteers who do a fantastic job. You have be back in by 11.00 pm on an evening but that was not a problem for us.
