This was my first visit to beck allen guest house and I cannot emphasise how wonderful it was. The room was first class the breakfast range was comprehensive and cooked beautifully. The hosts were very friendly and very knowledgable about the area.this may have been my first visit but it definitely won't be the last.

I really cannot emphasise enough how wonderful this location is. We stayed in room 2 which has both garden and river views. After a long walk on the fells what can be better than a nice hot bath, a lovely meal out and a restful sleep hearing the river rush by just below your window? I will certainly be back... More

Great B+B, good quality rooms and good value for money; although we didn't sample the breakfast as we were up at 5am and off climbing (!). I would definitely recommend this place though, friendly host and he was very flexible helping me find us a room in Grasmere. Grasmere is nice in general too.
