Warm welcome from owner and even warmer showers after cold wet ride from Workington. Little extras like secure bike storage, drying facilities, parking for support vehicle, tips for local eating & drinking and topped up coffee flasks in the morning (following great breakfast) mean would definitely stay again.

We arrived late after a long cycle ride and Ian made us very welcome and attended to our immediate needs including drying our wet clothes. The Rooms are much better than they appear in the photographs on the website and I would highly recommend the Caledonia.

Stayed here for 1 night over the first May Bank holiday 2013 during a C2C run. Was greeted with a warm welcome from Ian and Sue, who were very helpful. A very warm welcome awaited us on our arrival. Secure lock up for our bikes. Room very clean and warm. Ideally placed for town and for access to the C2C route. Breakfast good, nothing was too much trouble. Would recommend.
