“Quaint place along Broad Street”

Staying in Room 5. Pretty view of the front of the house from the front window. Rest of my party also have very nice rooms in 2-4! “Just perfect.”

Booked online all was good. Arrived on Saturday(02/03/2013) and even though we were first time guests Caroline greeted us like old friends. The room was cosy and just enough for the the two of us. “Absolutely charming”

We spent several days here. Caroline is a wonderful hostess, plenty of info. The rooms are spotless , beds are good and breakfsts are hot and plentiful. Located very handy to the centre of town there are plenty of eateries within 5 minutes walk. Parking is on street but plentiful and safe. All in all, we had the perfect time... More

“lovely stay”

stayed at the white rose in sepember for 2 days over the weekend. we went with friends and took all the rooms and had no compliants. we had a nice big room with a comfy big bed. the landlady was very friendly and the breakfast was very nice too. would definately stay there again

We are approximately third or fourth time visitors to this hotel and our appreciation of it gets better everytime we go. We tend to go for short 'walkiing' holidays in the winter, and though there is plenty of choice for an evening meal out just a short walk away, we love to return to our logdings to finish the evening... “A cosy New Year break!”

We had a very relaxing stay at White Rose over the New Year weekend. Rooms are cosy and clean, breakfast is superb and Caroline is very welcoming and helpful. Excellent location: in the heart of Windermere village and only a 20 mins walk to the lake/Bowness. We highly recommend this hotel and would stay again!

This is the third time we have stayed here and you could not ask for more. It is so welcoming and the rooms are clean, warm and homely with everything you would need.
