This is a fabulous b&b and would defo recommend to everyone. The room was very clean and with lovely decor, small but cosy and all we wanted. The breakfast menu was so extensive, it took a while to choose from and it didn't disappoint, it was divine. It was very friendly and i will be going back.

We looking for something a bit special to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary, so we chose the super kingsize room, which exceeded our expectations. Great room, great bed and great bathroom. Breakfast was superb, such a large choice. Will definitely be visiting again.

St John's Lodge is situated exactly between Windermere and Bowness, perfect for exploring the area. The rooms are tastefully decorated and smell fresh and clean. Breakfast is a treat because there is so much to choose from. We took full advantage of this and ordered something different every day of our stay. Highly recommended.

I found this B&B in my monthly Crossed Grain Magazine as I have coeliac disease. It advertises Gluten Free breakfasts. Well the breakfast choice was amazing, a total of 38 options most of which could be provided gluten free.
