Stayed for 3 nights over the May bank holiday. Very comfortable room with coffee and tea facilities, breakfast was excellent, location is very good, barely a 5 minute walk from Windermere village, and Philip and Mary (the owners) are really nice!

Stayed here for 2 nights, very friendly and far better than "Boutique Hotel" suggests. There to greet with home made cakes and jams. If you want a cold clinical modern hotel - stay away, if you want hospitality within nicely furnished surroundings, home cooking and a warm welcome don't look any further.
They don't do evening meals midweek but are happy...

What a great review= many thanks. The eggs are organics- they're from Bannerigg Farm and although only offer 2 or 3 course on a Friday and saturday- we do offer cold meat and cheese platter for the rest of the week with a glass of wine or a local bottled beer or one from Belgium.
Many thanks
