It was bit of bumpy start on check in we asked about car parking I did anticipate having to pay but the system is crazy the clerk gave us instructions writing down what we were to do and of we went unfortunatley the info on the machines is incorrect and the clerk had missed of the part where you let... I was unfortunate enough to book a weekend stay at this hotel for stag and hen parties. the bar area doubles as the restuarant and is very noisy with drunken revellers who shout and swear, some girls were having photos taken of their bare bottoms with the staff looking on these party's returned in the early hours, shouting and being very noisy... After spending a horrendous night in a Travelodge in Birmingham, I was relieved to find the room at Blackpool South Shore perfectly acceptable. There is no way you could describe it as anything other than functional, but it was clean and comfortable enough to sleep there prior to our day on the Pleasure Beach. Breakfast was fine.

Blackpool is cracking family fun, a hoot of a place that is underappreciated by too many Britons in my experience. This is a nicely-located, central hotel, clean and modern, and better than usual Travelodge standards, that's perfect for exploring the many local attractions. Pretty much everything is walkable within 20-45 minutes, so unless you're disabled or congentially lazy, it's a... More

We were a group of 4 adults and 4 kids (4+4) and decided on this hotel due to proximity to Pleasure Beach and the fact that it was outwith the town centre and the infamous night life Blackpool attracts! We arrived by train into Blackpool North and walked the 15 mins onto the Promenade and caught a tram to Pleasurebeach... More

we stayed here 14th-16th April,it was a last minute decision,we had a ground floor room as my husband is disabled and from the start of the stay to the end it was faultless, staff extemely helpful and friendly, the room although basic was clean with plenty of room, the bed very comfortable and it was surprisingly quiet especially as there were big parties... We stayed at this Travelodge in order to attend the Blackpool Dance Festival at Easter 2012 so we were staying for 4 nights starting on Easter Monday in a family room. I called several days in advance to ask about early check in and was assured this would not be a problem. On arrival i was told they would have... More

Stayed here for one night on the 11thApril. I was a bit worried when I saw how near to the pleasure beach the Travelodge was located. Reception staff were polite and helpful. The room was very clean, hot water and clean towels were plentiful.A good night's sleep ('though the matress was a little floppy). Surprisingly the hotel was very quiet, as... More

Decoration in hotel fine, usual minimalistic Travelodge decor. Room very clean and very large. Facilities fine. Bar and restaurant good value for a hotel and food very good quality. Staff very welcoming and pleasant. The room preparation was poor but this was a last minute booking on what was a very bust day for the hotel and when we asked... More
