We stayed in the Wellington for a mates 30th Birthday, there was a group of 18 lads and even though they couldn't fit us all in the Wellington, Joeanne arranged for half of our group to stay in a B&B 2 doors down. We paid £15.00 deposit each and then the balance upon arrival (£35.00 in total). Something to point... More

Recently went on a stag weekend here. Rooms were clean, reasonably equipped and the service was good and friendly. Central location which is nice and a decent breakfast as well. GIven the price, its excellent value. One caveat is parking - on street parking is available, but very limited. There is car park 30 yards away, £6 a night. But... More

Just returned from my little sister's Hen Weekend in Blackpool. We arrived on the Friday and straight away it was like home from home, Diane greeted us and couldn't be more helpful and lovely. This was to be the running theme of our stay, there was ten of us, we had two rooms of three and two twin rooms, all... More

This hotel has a large well stocked bar area that is clean and tidy. It looks like it has been recently refurbished. The rooms are very small but they are clean and tidy. The bathrooms also look like they have recently been refitted. It is a basic place that should only be used as a place to get your head... More

Stag weekend, ideal!! Read reviews before going down, the bad reviews I didn't have any of them happen to me or any of the group. Friendly staff, anything we asked for the staffed helped right away. Short taxi ride to the main bars and clubs. Twin room was small, bathroom was clean and shower good. Bar area was perfect. Breakfast... More

I returned to the Wellington as my 1st stay had been pleasant. However I returned in a smaller group for my birthday and unfortunately one person couldn't make it. I fully expected to lose the deposit but when I arrived and explained I was greeted by a man who said that we had to pay the full amount and take... More

Booked direct with the owners. Travelled with my partner and 2 teenage girls, Got a great Monday to Friday deal. Family room sleeps 4 with 1 double and a bunk bed for £160.00. POSITIVES: clean room and bathroom, double bed was comfy, TV with remote, pleasant and helpful staff, plenty of tea/coffee in room. A lovely young lady asked if... More

Read some reviews before we went was a bit worried but no need as the place was ideal. Simple and basic but that really suited us - had three young grandchildren with us and was able to relax as there was nothing they could fiddle with or mess up. I hate hotels where you are so scared of moving something... More
