this is a great place to stay for the weekend. the owner was very nice, the breakkie was gud but the rooms were a bit dated but clean made to feel very welcome and would consider staying again. if arriving by train make sure you know which station you are arriving at, as there is two stations in blackpool something... Lyndhurst was perfect,a home from home ,made very welcome from your host Jean,could'nt meet a nicer person,helped us with everything,were to eat what to do and all the attractions,breakfast was great kept us full till late afternoon,kids got spillage on there clothes so she offered to wash them,we could'nt believe this,what a host,with only ten rooms everybody got to know... Jeanie made us fill a home, and gave us tips on where to go. The food was great and plenty of it. The room was very clean and bright. We only went for 2 days but are planing to go back in sept. Allin all we had a great time. ruerue:

My partener and I have been going to the lydhurst for the last seven years and would recommend this to anyone, as it's emaculate and very friendly. The food is great. Well worth the money for your stay.

I booked the christmas package in this hotel and she cancelled the week before and its taken 8 weeks and about 20 phone calls, the threat of a court of court order to get my £250 refund of deposit. We stopped in room 7 for 1 night. Room was clean and well stocked. The landlady of this small hotel is lovely, always has a smile on her face and happy to help whenever, nothing seems too much trouble for her.
