We've just retruned from thi stravelodge and found it perfectly adequate for the stay we made in Lutterworth. The bed was comfortable and the location was excellent. To be honest I can't see what all the fuss in other postings was about but if it was that bad , its certainly improved a hell of alot.

Awful cleanliness. Dirt and debris behind the bathroom door has been there for a long time, they obviously clean the bathroom without closing the door, also stains on the tiles next the the toilet; can only assume urine splashes. I have stayed here several times, not particularly cheap for very very basic accommodation. The pub next door serves ok food and good beer, that is the only plus as far as I am concerned. The Travelodge has become quickly run down, often dirty and smelly rooms. I will not be returning. Unfortunately I cannot score zero or a minus!

I don't expect much of a Travelodge - my expectations don't extend beyond a reasonable night's sleep in a clean room. However the Lutterworth one failed to deliver even that. The mattress was sagging terribly in the middle, and full of bumps. Not a good night's sleep at all. The rooms look shabby and tired and were covered in dust.
