This Bed and Breakfast was no more than adequate. It was clean but too old-fashioned for my taste and it does need a refurbishment as the building is very interesting and could be beautifully presented with more effort.. We were attending a christening so its location was unimportant, but if you were to stay here it really is a very... More

We stayed at the Old Rectory for the weekend . The room was clean and tidy with everything you need. The locotation is fantastic just a couple of mins walk to Lincoln old quarter and all its charm. Plenty of free parking at the hotel. The owner and his wife are charming always ready with advice during our stay. Breakfast... More

You won't get a better B&B than this for the money. Superbly placed for the historic town with plenty of its own off road parking and free to come and go as you please. The comfortable rooms retain the character of the Victorian Rectory from which it was converted and the owner is happy to help you with local information... More

This hotel is in a lovely location and ideal to just park the car and leave it there! You can walk in to the city and see all the attractions without having to drive or park. The hotel is old fashioned without a doubt but one should see it as a cheap, clean and extremely convenient place to stay. The... More

Just returned from a wonderful weekend break in Lincoln. We stayed at the Old rectory which is located right at the end of Bailgate, and a five minuet stroll to the main attractions. The hotel is old fashioned but you would expect it to be, it was clean and the staff very helpful the breakfast was good (some people prefer... More

we once again based ourselves at the Old Rectory for our stay in Lincoln for the Airshow at Waddington. Cannot fault the hotel, its clean, cosy, comfortable and within easy reach of Lincolns many attractions. We've booked again for next year and I cannot wait.

My friend and I stayed here for four nights earlier in June, and were overall very happy with the Old Rectory. It's a charming old brick building, and our double bedroom was HUGE by British standards, with double bed, two big arm chairs, big dresser/closet for clothes and our own bathroom, with a large bath (but no shower). Yes, the... More

My husband and I and my sister and her husband stayed at The Rectory for 2 nights. We enjoyed it very much. The rooms were large and had an en suite, and although the furnishings were old fashioned, we were very happy with the comfort. There was plenty of tea and coffee making facility in our rooms. The staff were... More

This is cosy, fairly clean and quiet hotel and staff are really friendly. Its very close to amenities and local attractions. My only problem was that there is no communal room/bar area so that friends could sit together in the evening and have a drink.
