“Lovely hotel, great rooms and great views across the mersey out to the wirral”

Stayed in 1208, i asked for a top floor room away from lifts and i got it, wasn't too bothered about getting a view but its on the mersey side and 'wow'. Room was excellent, good quality with aircon (that worked), bathroom a bit pokey but hey you don't stop in the bathroom

“good basic hotel”

Good location near the river & Albert Docks. Rooms were new-ish & clean, but a little basic. Hotel bar was ok. Good value if you get a deal. Worth signing up to the Thistle hotels signature programme to get vouchers for free lunches & free stays.

Friendly, efficient staff. Room very clean with good views. Did not eat or drink in the hotel so cannot comment on food or drink. Good location for shopping & nightlife.

Stayed one night in standard room which was excellent price and we were not disappointed. On arrival staff at reception were friendly, helpful and offered to look for a room with a view over river.
