Stayed at the VSC for 10 days in September 2012. Great location, rooms fully renovated - but ground floor dining room was closed for rénovations. Kitchen provided good bang for the buck - staff were polite, efficient and most courteous... a pleasure to stay. Right by Marble Arch, Oxford Street, the tube - bus lines going everywhere - perfect location....... More

Easy as always to book on-line as a member at this well-located service oriented club. This time we took two friends who are not members who enjoyed the value-for-money club as much as we do. Our centenary room was spotless and quiet away from the Edgware Road. Breakfast was freshly prepared and lots of it with plenty of choice. We... More

Stayed over half term for one night with family. Advantages The staff found me a room one day before we travelled after a cancellation. Their customer service and communications are excellent. Rooms are clean, large and beds comfortable. Location good near Marble Arch and Oxford Street and its near to one of the major bus tour company stop off points.... More

My second review, as we stay here often. In the past, I have chosen the Memorial middle price rooms, but this time decided to pay the extra for the Cenenary wing which was well worth it. The room was clean and modern, air conditioned and comfortable. Well worth the £140 per night (with breakfast) that we paid. Please, please consider... More

My wife and i spent 7 nights at the Victory Services Club. The room was clean, sleep quality was very good. We had breakfast on several occassions. It was a coincidence but we sat at the same table, overlooking a portrait of Lord Nelson. Breakfast was great, we did not see a reason for going somewhere else for it. Check-... More

This was a great place to stay. Other than a minor misunderstanding about a double booking, we loved every moment here. Clean, friendly, good breakfasts, great location etc etc. Highly recommended. We will certainly stay again when we visit London.

Stayed at the VSC as a guest of a member and was very impressed on my arrival. Very polite and helpful staff directed me to my room which I believe was the ‘runt’ right at the end of the building on the second floor with views of a wall, a fire exit and the ducting and extractor fans from the... I have been a member of the VSC for several years now and for the past two years, friends and I have used the bar and restaurant as a welcome location to wind-down after our annual visit to London for a mini-break. Most places in London are hectic and if you want a bit of serenity, you have to visit... More

I've been to the Memorial wing a number of times. This is the wing facing Edgware Road (which isn't exactly a plus with it's traffic moving past at full speed all day and night long), is the one described as "tired" (and rightly so) in a number of reviews prior. The Memorial wing is, by the way - closed on... More
