Although a bir pricey, this is a lovely studio, including a fantastic bed, living area and fully fitted kitchen. Someone mans the desk day and night (or can be summoned quickly) Any problem would be quickly resolved . David who helped us on our first and last days is very friendly and helpful, and full of local knowledge. Farringdon tube ( and National rail station) are less than a minute away, and king's Cross is one stop so its very central. there are 2 local supermarkets and pubs on the doorstep. I would recommend to a single traveller or couple who want to treat themselves and a 3rd person could sleep on the couch

I stayed here for a weekend - the room had everything that we needed. The kitchen was fully equipped and was great for when we didn't want to eat out. The bathroom was also very spacious (a shower and a bath). The location was great for reaching St. Pancras and elsewhere. Staff were incredibly helpful - my partner came down with a very bad flu on the last day. Despite checkout being at 10am, because our Eurostar didn't leave until 3pm they let us stay in the room until 2pm, which was so helpful as I would not know where else to go with my very sickly boyfriend!

I picked the Atelier EC1 because it was very close to the venue of a conference I was attending, and because I prefer to have an apartment rather than a hotel room whenever I have the choice. I was not disappointed. I should start by mentioning the very friendly welcome of David, at the reception (I noticed he is mentioned in other reviews, and deserves all the praise he gets ). He really is very helpful and effective, quite the model of the perfect concierge/receptionist. I found a clean and spacious studio (although a bit dark, which didn't really matter as I was mostly out during the day), with a fully equipped kitchenette (including Nespresso machine, dishwasher, washing machine...), a spacious bathroom, and more than enough closets, drawers and cupboards. The location, a 2 minutes walk to Farringdon station, makes it perfect for those arriving at Gatwick (Thameslink). There is a variety of shops within a short walking distance to buy any food you want to prepare in the apartment, and quite a lot of restaurants in the area too. As some reviews have indicated, this is not a hotel room, and unless otherwise agreed (and paid for, of course), the apartments are only serviced once a week. So, unless you can't make your won bed and hang your own towels on the towel rack, this is truly a perfect place.

The hotel offers great space compared to other places in London. The amenities in the apartment are excellent for families. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is also within a walking distance to the Chancery Lane underground.

My apartment was well-equipped, well-maintained, with good security, concierge and cleaning services. Surprisingly quiet location, just minutes away from Farringdon and Chancery Lane tube stations. Great amenities on the doorstep.

Great value for money in the heart of the Clerkenwell area. We really enjoyed our stay, and being looked after by day fantastic concierge David. Apartment was clean and well appointed. Not the Ritz, but luxurious enough for a weekend away. We'll be back!

Stayed 4 nights in September. Excellent experience. Apartment was huge and clean. Beds were comfortable. Nespresso was great. Washing machine worked well. Front desk staff were professional, especially George. He was so nice and helpful. The day when we arrived, my daughter was sick. He helped searching a doctor around who could come over the apartment as it was a Sunday and no clinic would open. The morning when we checked out to catch an early flight, it was still in the mid-night. He helped order a taxi in advance with the lowest fare among those I had ever checked. Location of the apartments is convenient. Five minutes walk to Farringdon tube station. One stop to King's Cross. Also buses run to Oxford Circus. But we took taxi most of the time as the apartment is in central London. There are nice restaurants, Boots and some Sainsbury's around. We will definitely come back.

Really nice studio, the staff was nice and listened to any request I may had :) They just need to refurbished a little bit the studio but everything was fine. The only downside was the wifi which wasn't free £12 per 24 hours...

The studio apartments here were an ideal location for a friends wedding, however a little overpriced for the location as it was the same price as the west end and everything is mostly closed around here at the weekend. Apartments were on the larger size and well stocked with everything you'd need. My biggest frustration was the call at 10AM to say we needed to leave as that's the check out time, after a long night it wasn't a welcome call as we had about ten minutes to get ready and leave, there was also no mention upon check in of this time. I wished I'd stayed at a hotel which would have been cheaper and had an extra two hours for that much needed lie in!
