My husband & I stayed at The Savoy April 18-21, and we enjoyed it very much, although I still question our sanity for paying so much money for a place to sleep. However, we did enjoy the spacious room with robes & slippers, a desk, and plenty of drawer space, plus a nice bath room. We had a little bit... More

Stayed this weekend at the Savoy and was really looking forward to my stay. I know of the Savoy from days of old and am familiar with the refurb. I was really looking forward to my stay and to put their marketing and the hype to the test. What I found was a hotel that was just okay... It was... More

My husband and I have for sometime wanted to visit The Savoy, especially since the very expensive renovations (£220 million in total I believe) and we were very much looking forward to experiencing Afternoon Tea in the Thames Foyer. Now it should be said that my husband and I have experienced Afternoon Tea at a number of prestigious hotels in... More

We have stayed in the finest hotels the world can offer, and none have been better than The Savoy! Service is superb and begins when you arrive at the front door, where you receive personalized chech in service, doorman in top hats and a group of bellman to help with your luggage. We were shown to our room in the... More

I started staying in the Savoy in 1975, and between then and when it shut down for its renovations, I must have stayed there three dozen times. Having travelled all over and having stayed in many luxury hotels, the Savoy was always my favorite. I must say that the renovation has ruined it. And having read many of the reviews... More

I was extremely spoilt and we did the dinner bed and breakfast Sunday night offer for my birthday. We stayed in the art deco side of the hotel, and the room was beautiful. A piece of birthday cake was delivered to our room, not long after we checked in - nice little touch. Our dinner was delicious. I didn't really... More

Stayed here for 1 night only, spacious beautiful room, everyone really polite and discreet but extremely well-mannered and polite. Took a while to get served in the bar as too many of us however once we order a lot and I mean a lot of champagne and had bar tab going service was fast efficient and perfect. Stunning floral displays,... More

Why can't the rest of the worlds hotels be like the Savoy. This trip only had afternoon tea and a cocktail in the Beaufort Bar,but after that experience I have promised my fiance we will come back for a couple of nights.. What can one say the understated perfection of the food and service was just that.PERFECT..

Our visit to the Savoy Hotel last week was "simply splendid". I told my husband I felt like little butlers were following us around tending to our every wish. From the way we were greeted upon entering and exiting the hotel to the way our tea was poured at afternoon tea not a single detail was overlooked. Our room was... More

As a special treat for my mum, my cousin and I took her to afternoon tea at the Savoy, and it was a wonderful couple of hours. Arriving by taxi, we were ushered into the hotel by the doormen, then guided through the quiet but opulent lobby towards the area where tea was taken, just beyond the new "Savoy Tea"... More
