This hotel is what it says on the box, a quintessentially English, boutique hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were lovely, bathroom great, the nicest hotel beds and in a brilliant location.

Friendly, smiling and well trained staff add to the general efficiency of this well placed central London hotel. Only there for one night on business, but will certainly stay there again and recommend it for our international visitors.

The previous review just covered me! It was my first time in London and the hotel really counted on my impression. Luxurious without showing-off, classic, elegant, good location, friendly staff, very nice bathroom and toiletries, loved the sense of elegant 'Britishness' all around! Defienetely recommended!

The atmosphere of Dukes seems genuinly English with elegantly furnished drawing rooms and cocktail lounges. The rooms are modern and pleasantly decorated, excellent beds.
