I stayed there with my family last month(April) and it was the best experience yet. We had a double and a twin room which were very clean and tidy. The reception staff was very helpful and they seem to know everything about London. The breakfast was very nice and the portions were big enough

Excellent hotel and location. Loads of pubs and bars and restaurants are a short walk from the hotel. This said, the area is quiet and safe to walk around. Tiny little hotel which is dirty, where the staff smoke in the doorway and grunt as you enter. Small hotel/b&b well placed for Victoria, Tate Gallery etc. Whole place was immaculate with plenty of thought having gone in. Good standard breakfast. All staff friendly and helpful. Tiny room with level of furnishing and services b&b rather than smart hotel, but but good quality. If you want more in central London you will have to pay more than £99..

I stayed at Melita Hotel back in January 2012 whilst on business in London. I didn't know what to expect but found myself pleasantly surprised. Service was great, beds were comfy and the location was brilliant. In my view, not a lot more I could of asked for considering the price.
