The fact that this hotel stands on one of the most central streets in London makes up for a multitude of shortcomings. Plus side: friendly staff, good sized room. Minus: dated, slow check-in, not enough lifts. However, overall an excellent place to stay.

Stayed here for a few nights in May and was pleased with the service. Would not call it extraordinary. The room was unable to block out noise from the outside which was very loud and breakfast was always very busy. Enjoyed a three night stay here, on a Hotel Direct theatre deal. A great hotel, everyone very helpful and a great location for shopping, the sights etc. Good breakfast, which runs till 1030, however if you get there after ten the service seems to start winding down. Room serviced every day.
