The hotel looks as if it were pulled out of a fairy tale...glorious! Magnificent location and tremendous service. If anything was wrong it was automatically "their fault" and they would do whatever was necessary and beyond to accomodate. From the Manager, to the Concierge to the bartender the employees were magnificent! Very sociable and very interesting. Conveniently located to the... More

Booked on the internet, and owners took booking even though they are imminently closing down. Room was dirty, cracks on tiles in toilet, noisey toilet cistern, old soap in shower holder. young staff looked like left to cope- by far the worst hotel i have ever stayed at. Apart from the location, nothing positive to say. Avoid like the plague... More

Just spent 3 nights at this hotel after reading on their web site that it had undergone refurbishment. The truth is they are closing and hopefully new owners are due to refurb but wasnt able to get any more information about when this was to be. The room was awful, the tiniest sink which had three great long cracks in... More

Central location with café's, Restaurants and Bars close at hand as is the Natural History Museum. I had stayed here before when it was a Moat House and chose for the location rather than the decor, but was pleasantly surprised as the Hotel has been decorated throughout since becoming the Grosvenor Kensington. Had a room with Jacuzzi and the room... More

We stayed here for three nights ont he front end of our holiday in London. Purchased the room through getaroom.com at about $92/night US which included hot breakfast. The rooms are small and older, but clean and the atmosphere for a visit to London is great. We had requested a double room, which was not available, so the staff changed... More

Do not expect much from this hotel. The "three star" says it all. It truly is a 3 star hotel, however, for the price and location it is extremely favorable. I will definitely stay there again for my business travel purposes but not for leisure as I would want something more pampering and relaxing. The room I stayed in was... More

I understand that a lot of people criticise the poorly maintained interior of the hotel rooms - the plaster of the ceiling seemed a little untrustworthy, and the walls could definitely use a paint job, not to mention the windows that look like they're one hundred years old. (My room overlooked the playground of what seemed to be a primary... More

I've booked this hotel because I had a ridiculously cheap price on the website. Once I arrived the woman at reception could not find my reservation and the manager was away! They however had rooms available and offered me one, but at the price significantly higher than the one I had booked before! I went to my room, which was... More

I stayed at the hotel on Tuesday night. I paid in advance on Last Minute.com. When I arrived at the hotel a swipe of my Credit Card was taken, "for quarantee purposes". In fact they took payment from the card again. I have called this morning to speak to the manager, the response was "Sorry no manager today, goodbye". (she... More

I can be pretty short about my first experience at this Hotel. The only reason for staying there again would be its fantastic location. For the rest all I can say that this is a 2 star hotel....at its best !
