My precise rating is below average but above poor. Good location--2 blocks from Paddington station (with train direct to/from airport) and underground (served by 3 convenient lines). Good price. Staff is pleasant and helpful. English breakfast (included) is quite good. Only "amenety" was one small bar of soap and one towel per day. Absolutely smallest room I have ever had--just... More

Booked late for a business trip stay over. The hotel is very near Paddington Stn so great connections by bus, train and underground. Nearby pubs and restaurants to choose from. Room was good, bathroom small but perfectly adequate. The facilities in the room were good. Nice tea and coffee making service, television with remote. Some 'budget' hotels in London which... More

Just returned from an excellent trip to London and The Belvedere was just what I was after. Nice breakfast, prime location and a good price. No fuss, just a great stay.

Top marks to this place for its management and honesty. When I booked I asked for a low quiet room. They rang to tell me upper floors were quieter and there was a ground floor room but there would be noise from trains. I chose this option and was so grateful- no stairs to climb after a day walking around... More

Staff are very helpful. Each time we came back to the hotel, they had our key ready before we pressed the doorbell. We had a problem with the toliet float mechanism which couldnt be fixed until the next day, so they gave us a different room that was available. They suggested the option as a solution! Even though we had... More

We initially booked here as my sister was going to be having a baby at St. Mary's hospital. We found the rooms clean (if not somewhat tiny compared to what I've become accustomed to in the US - and we do mean TINY), adequately furnished for our needs and comfortable even with 2 large suitcases dominating the floor. The staff... More

The Belvedere is pretty much the same as the other budget hotels in Norfolk Square. By that I mean steep, narrow staircases, tiny room, tiny bathroom, furnishings old but clean, clean sheets on an almost comfortable mattress and a simple breakfast. The price did seem a bit high compared to the others in its class. The location is excellent if... More

Apart from the location near Paddington Station, I could not find reasons to be very happy. The price was salty for what it was, breakfast greasy and english student style. Service was average only with good will. Rule were strict and definately derived from bad experiences. When asked to use the phone available in the room, I was asked when... More

When we arrived at the Hotel Belvedere, fatigued at the end of a long day of travel, we were very disappointed to see that the hotel looked nothing like the online representations. Based on that negative first impression, we asked the desk manager to see the room into which we were assigned. We were shocked at how tiny, dingy and... More

Well if you are looking for a place just to spend the night and looking for a central location, this hotel will suit you. the rooms are very very small. Just enough to accomodate a single bed. No room service or any facilities. Good thing was that the room was clean and hygenic. They dont even serve you drinking water.... More
