Have stayed here many times due to its amazing location. The hotel is gorgeous, overlooking the thames and the london eye. Service is a bit of a hit and miss as the front counter staff seems to be often changing. The recent revamp made for a beautiful bar and breakfast area. Love the spa as well as the gym which... More

Is this place clean? Yes. Is this place have great views? Yes. Is this place in a good location? Yes. Is this hotel a ***** which it claims? Heck no. It is run down, old and outdated. Nowhere near what a 5 star should be.

What an amazing luxury hotel & spa 5*! I was treated to a surprise spa full body massage and afternoon drink in the hotel bar overlooking the most magnificent views of London - unbeatable. From the moment you enter this prestigious elegant hotel you are treated like a special guest. The spa staff were welcoming, professional and encouraged me to... More

We were at the Marriott for a function and booked for a very large group committed to spend nearly £10k in 3 hours. The food quantity was meagre, taste was of basic diner quality, breadth was staggeringly narrow. The waiting staff were good though and tried to make the best of a poor situation as they could clearly see how... More

We had a Corporate do, in London, the first night we stayed at the Wellington, the second night here, What can I say!! the whole building is spectacular, steeped in tradition but with a very friendly atmosphere, the staff were excellent, & the room was sublime, check in time was 3pm, but we arrived at 10.30 am and the room was... Wanted to check in early (as we'd requested) but room not ready. Offered immediate check-in to a room with different bed arrangement and accepted. Room probably a little smaller but fine, with the benefit of a view over the Thames and eyeball-to-eyeball with travellers on the London Eye! Issues: well-stocked minibar but no price list, cheap ballpoint which didn't work,... More

We had a sumptuous afternoon tea here - the staff were amazing - polite, helpful and professional. We were offered second helpings of anything we wished - but after enjoying sandwiches, champagne, cakes, scones etc. we had no room left!. I would definitely recommend an afternoon tea here - after shopping or sight-seeing a glorious end to the day.

Large well equipped guest rooms with a superb view over the river to the Houses of Parliament, lovely bar and restaurant with similar views, very close to all transportdfacilities (tube, bus, Waterloo station etc), its quite an old building but everything works well (we had a false fire alarm on one of the evenings I was there though), friendly and... My family and I stay here for five days at the beginning of May. The hotel is located in the old County Hall building right outside Westminister bridge. The tube stop is very close, right across the bridge and there is a bus stop right outside the hotel. There are also many restaurants around the hotel and it's a short... More
