We chose this location because of other useful reviews in this forum. The YHA was not our first choice because we found other competently priced hotels in central London per Lonely Planet's suggestions. However, we ended up here because of availability for our dates of travel (5 nights). We travelled in a family with three generations: Seniors, current generation and... More

I've first stayed at this hostel in 2008 and end up staying there again in 2012 and it has been renovated for the better! They have a cafe with very reasonable prices for meals such as for lunch and dinner and have a inexpensive package for breakfast too!! I really enjoyed the food and was in no comparison to how... We were four females in three generations and we all enjoyed our stay. We had a private quad room which was very good. The location is unbeatable (remember the check the bus routes, many stops very close). We ate at the O'Neills pub next to the hostel twice and liked it very much. The staff was as friendly as they... I stayed in a 4-bed female dorm for 3 nights in March 2013. The hostel's location is excellent, just 5 mins from St Pancras station. The Barbican (for movies and concerts) is just two stops away on the tube (as is Holborn) for the British Museum. There is a bit of traffic noise even though the hostel is triple-glazed but... More

A great place to stay. Very helpful staff. Excellent facilities. We had a private room for two. Good showers and loos, efficient lifts. Public Transport was so convenient from here, we saved hours each day compared with being in the suburbs. No down side at all for us.

I've stayed at this hostel a few times, however during my most recent stay I was impressed by the warm friendly welcome I received at reception - I think one of the guys was called Christian. The place looked like it had been given a bit of a face-lift. The dining area and bar looked to be less fussy than... More

Stayed here with my Mum back in 2004. The lift didn't work reliably and was only for emergencies. my Mum was in a wheelchair..and the lift broke down with her in it... and she had a bit of a panic attack. otherwise friendly folk, They did their best to get her out of the lift ASAP too. The cooked brekkie... More

Having stayed here with the family in May 2010 just after its refurbishment, I was looking forward to going back. The accommodation is still cheap, the staff helpful and friendly and the breakfast good value. However, maintenance looks to be poor with an out of order lift, a broken shower in our room from which we chose to move, other... More

I stayed in the Yha London St Pancras between the 21st and the 27th of January. I was with a group of colleagues, therefore we had a Private room. I was supposed to only stay until the 26th, but due to work complications had to stay for another night. Therefore I went to ask reception if there was a possibility... More

Had an excellent night here last Saturday in a family room. The bar area was great and the food was particularly good. The chilli in a tortilla basket was excellent, also the burgers and chips. All very reasonable. A large glass of wine cost under £4 and was delicious. Would certainly go again.
