The location is as good as you can get, right next to the British Museum and 5 minutes walk to a tube station. It is also just about 15 minutes walk to SoHo and less than 30 minutes to Picadilly Circus. The amenities are pretty basic, with not enough bathrooms and toilets for the number of beds. The rooms are... More

Booked in for the hostel for 2 nights. We had no issues whatsoever - you get what you pay for. 2 good night sleeps for a cheap rate... you can't go wrong. We just used the place to crash at the end of the night. Just make sure you take bottled water with you to drink. Very close to Leicester... More

It was just a shoocking experience. First of all we have done booking at february for april trip but they have given our beds to somebody else(a group of 13 people). They have given us bed in another building which do not have any sign outside, without information. When you enter the hostel (it was not a hostel it was... More

The staff are smug, immature, careless and altogether unhelpful. When we asked for towels at check-in, the lady told us that there none left and when we asked if there might be clean ones later she responded "HA! Knowing this place, NO!" We paid for a private room, which ended up being under renovation. The floor was COVERED in dust.... More

The hotel is a little bit overcrowded, breakfast is basic. The location is amazing, it is in a nice safe neighborhood of london. The staff are very friendly and attentive and the place is overall very clean.

I've stayed in good hostels and I have stayed in terrible hostels - this is the latter. Reception staff was not friendly. Security was weak - I stayed in the 6 person room and one morning, we woke up to find a 7th person fast asleep on the floor: he was not a guest at the hostel, but a guests... More

Ideal if you use a hostel in the *most* minimum way. That is, when you are in a hostel, you are either sleeping, showering or in the toilet. And the rest of the time you are out and about. Lounge and dining/kitchen area are not cosy at all. I felt like leaving as soon as possible since it is depressing... More

I have been to many backpackers and this has got to be one of the worst. After reading the happy reviews I had thought it'll be a great place to stay in London and so I made bookings online. Alas, when we arrived on the 15 Mac, we were told that they have to put us up at another building... More

pros: big rooms, friendly (if somewhat useless) staff, good location cons: the blankets and pillows REEK of sweat and urine. the showers are disgusting (especially the curtains, i ended up skipping some showers just because i didn't want to touch those nasty things). i got a mixed dorm because all of the women-only rooms were full. DO NOT DO THIS.... More

We stayed in room 45 which was a 4 bed mixed dorm. Our room was on the 4th floor, which was up a very small and dangerous spiral staircase. If you have lots of luggage, hope for a room on a lower floor :). There are large lockers under the beds. One problem was that there was only ONE outlet... More
