The Lime Tree is conveniently located in Belgravia between the Sloan Square and Victoria Station tube stops. There are wonderful restaurants in the area including gastro pubs, Italian and a fabulous wine bar next door. The staff is helpful and breakfast very good. My only complaint is we were on the 3rd floor and had to go up 60+ very... More

We recently spent a few fabulous days in London. Adding to our enjoyment was our stay at the lovely Lime Tree Hotel, in the Belgravia area. As you enter the doors to this charming hotel, you will sense a warm, friendly and inviting environment ! The hotel is an older building but nicely decorated, and a touch of that English charm.... This hotel is located in a building that is from the early 1800's. No elevators (which we knew ahead of time) so we asked for lower floor room. That said we only had one flight of stairs to climb. The front desk helped us with our luggage. The staff was very welcoming and friendly and gave lots of good advice... More

I enjoyed my stay at Lime Tree hotel. I was a solo traveller and stayed in the single standard room. The rooms are small but well designed and very clean. The room I stayed in overlooked the garden, which was lovely and avoided noise from the street. It was located right near the stairwell and I could hear people as... More

This hotel is more bed and breakfast than a true hotel. That's not bad, but two sets of 67 year old legs (with one knee and two hip replacements) took a bit of a beating climbing up 4 sets of steps to the 2nd floor (that's the 3rd floor in the U.S.) after a long day of walking around the... More

We spent four nights here while visiting London. Matt and Charlotte were the perfect hosts. Matt was a wealth of information about London things to do. Our room overlooked the back garden and was lovely. The neighborhood was great, quiet Belgravia location. Five minute walk to the Victoria tube station and then anywhere in London is within easy reach. Breakfasts... More

Location of this hotel and cleanliness cannot be faulted - they are both excellent. Unfortunately other things let it down when considered in relation to the cost which was £900 for 5 nights B & B.. Our room was a "Superior" but seemed small particularly the bathroom. The tea/coffee making facilities were basic and the furniture mismatched. The shower was... More

This is a family owned hotel that is more like a bed and breakfast than it is a hotel, and that's a good thing. From the moment we arrived Matthew went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. We stayed in the "family" room which slept 4 comfortably on 3 beds. The bathroom was small... More

The Hotel is situated in one of the nicest parts of London, close to all amenities and public transport. Very charming with original features it is so much nicer than chain hotels and bigger more impersonal places. The rooms are clean and well presented but a little small but this is typical for London. Service is excellent with friendly reception... More

Two of my children (a tween and teen) and I stayed at the Lime Tree for 9 nights in mid-April. It was a safe, relatively quiet neighborhood but close enough to many sites that meant we could walk to the Eye, Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park, and many other places. And, it is a 5 minute walk to the tube (Victoria... More
