Keeping in mind that it is London, the place is not that bad. rooms are small, and staff is polite but not that helpful. the good thing in the hotel is the price, which is reasonable and the location, not far from the tube.

I had to stay in London for a week related to work. Workplace booked this hotel, so I had no say in it. Yes, it is inexpensive for the area, but there is a reason. Quite literally, the ceiling was higher than the room was wide. And when I sat on the loo, each shoulder touched the wall. This is... More

I paid 80 pounds for a room which is not that bad for this area. But I think this is less than the normally charge. Having said that I will not stay there again. The TV remote did not work, the staff was not that pleasant and the "breakfast" consisited of cereal and pre-packaged cheese slices. For a much better... More

This was my second stay, staff very friendly and toilets are clean. However, carpets need to be changed. I saw four rooms and in each one carpets had many stains. Staff at breakfast seem to be indifferent and slow. However, for the money, in central London its okay.

My wife and I had the dubious honor of visiting this establishment. We had an opportunity of transferring rooms though uppgrades until we were given the "best room in the hotel" ,room number 25. Unless you have a particular fondness of milldew I would advise you to stay away from this hotel. In the three rooms we lived in, none... More

Spent one night in this hotel in November 2011. Room was very small and carpet very stained. Constant smell of damp. No hot water, shower not working properly. Taps and plug holes rusty. Reception supposed to be manned 24 hours but every time we went down, there was nobody there. So called continental breakfast was a few packets of cereal... More

The family room at the Abcone is incredibly large by London standards. It is also clean with a modern and well equipped bathroom. As side note, a travel companion of ours stayed in a single room and it was only about big enough to fit the single bed that it contained. However, it was clean and the bed was comfortable... More
