We unfortunately had the misfortune to stay here on Friday 17th May. We have had previous overnight stays in various Travelodges all over the UK, but this one . . . I feel ashamed that so many international tourists will take away such a bad impression of UK hotel standards. Our room on the first floor was shabby, it needs... More

A very dated property , windows didnt fit,, so draft and vehicle noise, furniture mfi standard. In fairness the Breakfast wasn't bad and staff very pleasant and helpful. Yes it was cheap compared to others. I only stayed here because all other hotels were booked up due to various conferences etc. Therefore the fact it still had vacancies says it... More

Usual travelodge type hotel in a good location. Room was spacious and clean although the kettle was filthy. Plenty of pubs/restaurants nearby. Breakfast was good which isn't always the case in Travelodge's. got a good price as i booked well in advance. Would stay again.

This is a perfect base for a trip to London. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. The location is ideal with Liverpool street station, shoredith, leadenhall market etc all at your doorstep. Some great eats nearby to, check out the tramshed in shoreditch and the jugged hare for some top food. The famous hummingbird bakery is only a... More

I know it's all about the price ! But I dont rate £120 as budget I like to see humans welcoming you when you stay anywhere. There was no sign of anyone when I arrived at 7.15pm The automated booking was fine. Bed room ok but the pillows very soft and not for me. I ate in the bar. gourmet... More

I stay here regularly. Location wise can't be beaten. But all of the other reviews on here are true, sometimes it is smelly, some of the rooms are a lot worse than others, staff are usually unhelpful and rude. Breakfast is worth booking - it's good value. The one evening meal I had here was okay. If you need to... More

The staff here deserve medals. Every person we met was so friendly and helpful, they seemed like they genuinely cared about the guests which is odd for a chain hotel. The room was ok too, bit like a cell and looked out onto a pretty dull building but still good for the cheap price. It was very, very clean too... More

Have to say this Hotel is by far the worst I've ever stayed in. We paid premium rate on new Years Eve and we were well dissapointed. Room was dark and dingy, stains on wall, bathroom needs a serious makeover. Even the the desk had laminate missing all over it. Paid £30 for rooms in better condition than this, expected... More

I'll start with the plus points: Good location and the rooms were pretty clean and in line with what you would expect from a travelodge/budget hotel. The bad bits: The lift was permanently out of order. The stairs and ways absutely stank. No idea of what but it was stomach churning. The swipe access door between reception and the rooms... More
