We booked well ahead in their January sales, and our rooms were only £19.50 per night. It's only 5 miles away from Victoria (£2.30 single bus fare on the #44 from right outside the hotel) yet has excellent restaurants nearby for lunch and dinner and a traditional 'greasy spoon' cafe 50 yards down the road. Limited secure(?) on site parking... More

Stayed here for 2 nights in May '12. Stayed on room #11 and the smell of damp was unhealthy and disgraceful. Had no other room. Asked for spare duvet and receptionist told us to ask on our return to hotel after night out. On our return nobody at reception, no. of customers waited 20 mins to be told only we... More

Hotel is 10 mins walk from Clapham Junction station and costs about £5 in taxi. Its located kind of in middle of no where. Its an old Hotel so facilities are basic but couldnt complain about anything in particular. Not one for romantic weeken more for passing through for a night on business etc. Not bad value price wise

I was lucky: I had the handicapped room (#13) which was big. I liked almost nothing here, except the staff which was friendly. The room was cold, the heating troublesome and when it worked, the bathroom was still cold. The water in the shower never reached a comfortable temperature. There was a tiny bar of soap, the minimum amount of... More

Stayed 1 night in May '12 for a rugby weekend trip to London. Accommodation is scarce around Clapham so I opted for this hotel despite the reviews, as we were visiting friends. Location wise the hotel is poor as London hotels go. No tube nearby etc..bus to Clapham junction with its mainline station is £2.40. Its a 15min walk up... More

A group of us stayed at this travelodge on the 8th of April. A double room was only £50, so I was really impressed with the price, but that was about it. The hotel looks like a run down prison from the outside, but does have adequate parking. We checked in pretty quick. Our room was OK. Tidy, but had... More
