I recently stayed at Threadneedles for a quick business trip and had a very good experience. The hotel is well situated in the City, London’s financial district, and is a few blocks from two or three Underground stations. The rates were quite reasonable compared to other hotels in the area and I found the staff to be professional and very... More

Thank you for choosing Threadneedles for your business trip. Our hotel is very conveniently located, as it is just around the corner from Bank station and few minutes away from Monument and Liverpool Street. I am sorry that we are not able to offer an onsite Fitness Centre at the moment. As you mention, we do work with Virgin Active... More

My daughter and I stayed in a deluxe twin room for a weekend break. The bedroom, although quite small was nice and we had a lovely en-suite bathroom which was almost the same size as the bedroom. Room was clean, beds, pillows and linen great and we had a very restful night after a hard day shopping. We stayed for... More

How great it is to hear that you and your daughter had a good stay at Threadneedles. I am sorry if you found our breakfast a little pricey but I am pleased to hear that you enjoyed the overall breakfast experience. We are located in the centre of the City, which is not particularly walking distance to the West End... More

I booked the celebrate 2012 package through the hotel's website as a treat for my fiancée which gave us an executive room with a king size bed for one night, breakfast and champagne on arrival. It was a great weekend deal. There is even a shoe shine service as part of the deal if you want to make use of... More

My wife and I snuck away to London for a cultural weekend recently and stayed in this exquisite hotel. Don't be fooled by the grey stone front which would not mark it out from any of the adjoining drab offices; the doors open to reveal a splendid airy lobby topped by a beautiful glass cupola bearing the crest of the... This is a great spot for a weekend stay in London. It is really close to Liverpool St tube station which is handy if you're flying into Stansted. I often sleep badly in city hotels because of traffic noise and humming aircon units but this was amazingly quiet and tranquil. The beds are great. We had two very restful nights... More

Stayed at the Threadneedles for New years eve 2010. We had a deluxe room which was large and luxurious. The staff were friendly and the place had a very relaxed mood to it. Will stay here again for sure.

My husband booked this hotel as a birthday surprise for me and I have no fault to find with my one-night stay. The room was lovely, the staff were attentive and friendly, and were happy to serve us with drinks in the foyer when we arrived back after a late-night stroll along the Thames. I can't comment on the breakfast... More

I would like to express my appreciation to hotels' staffs for great and kind assistance. It was during Easter Holiday and my wife birthday. I wanted to book restaurants but most of resturants were closed and I had no plan at all. However staffs from the hotel booked very nice restaurant for us (perfect for celebrating my wife's birthday) and... More

Located right in the heart of the City of London near the Bank of England. I used the hotel at the weekend as the area is quiet but onlt 10 minutes from the West End. I cannot say enough good things about this fabulous hotel. Although I will admit that I am probably more tolerant than most travelers, the small inconveniences I experienced at Threadneedles did not take away from the wonderful weekend I spent there in early April 2012. First, I was given a very large room which I was told was an upgrade,... More
