The hotel is close to Kings Cross station and other nearby restaurants and pubs. The room itself was acceptable. The breakfast was continental only and mediocre, a disappointment. The desk personnel are very helpful. The toilet and shower share the same room which saves space but is not convenient.

I always stay in this area and decided to try the Crestfield. Very clean, small room, good wifi, clean bathroom. Hot pot, nice deck area. Friendly staff. Breakfast is cold cereal, juice, meat, cheese, bread, coffee, tea. Staff is hard working and immedialely clean off tables. The room closes at 9:30am, so don't show up at 9:25am expecting to be... Stayed April 2012 for one night, was looking for a hotel near to St.Pancras station as we were getting the eurostar early the next morning, and as i'd read good reviews on other websites decided to book at the Crestfield Hotel. We were able to check into the room earlier than 2pm, which was probably the only good thing about... More

Its less than a minute from Kings Cross station and clean enough. The rooms are quite small but in good condition and great value for the price. The breakfast was cereal and fruit, plain but nice enough and it was great that when you check out they will keep your luggage for you, saving £8 per case for the stations... More

I chose this hotel for convenience and value. It is just across the street from St Pancras station, which is also where you will find the Green line stop of Big Bus Tours. This made it very simple to get around London (warning - last bus of the Green line to bring you back to St Pancras is at 5... More

Ideal central location for sightseeing in London. No frills hotel but good value for money. It was clean, staff were friendly, continental breakfast was great. Its 5 mins walk (tops) from Kings Cross Station. 4 of us stayed in one room and although small, it was adequate for somwhere to lay our heads at the end of a busy day.... More

If you want large rooms with room service and cooked breakfasts, then book somewhere else for 2x the price. The Crestfield is a cheap, clean option with free wifi, a stone's throw from Kings X, the British Library, British Museum, walking distance from Bloomsbury.... Staff are really friendly, and the kitchen staff in the mornings - what can I say?... More

If you are looking for a central, reasonably priced (for London standards), simple hotel in London, and do not plan to spend much time in your room (and why would you as you are in London?) this is a good place to stay. I was here for 3 nights and found it a pleasant enough place, very near St Pancrass/... More

Location was very convenient to tube and Eurostar station. Direct tube lines to Heathrow and central London locations. Stayed in the 4 person room which consisted of 4 single beds. Room size was adequate for 2-3 people. Very limited desk space (one bed was in front of desk/outlet station. Free wi-fi was a definite plus. The wc - toilet, sink... More
