If you plan to stay up all night partying, then this hostel is for you. If you plan to sleep, then wake up early for sightseeing/to catch a train, DO NOT STAY HERE. I'm in room 3, but I don't see how the music could NOT permeate the entire building. Even earplugs aren't enough. I will never stay here again.

This accomodation is quite good regarding location and value for money. Close to transportation, restaurants, night shops and pubs. Naturally, you'll have to expect hostel amenities but the upside is hostel prices and location. This place stood out for us primarily because of its location in Southwark. St. Christopher's employs poorly trained people that don't know the area. Also, there were really only two employs that I met during my 4 night stay that were friendly and eager to do whatever they could to help. Very much a party hostel with it's own bar as well as it's own nightclub. The public was allowed to use both of these venues at times which gave it a more authentic local atmosphere. Spent a couple of weeks here and thought it was great! Nice location (near Borough market and just down the road from a tube station), lockers are cheap if you want to drop your bags off early, friendly staff, free breakfast, lockable basket under all the beds, free wifi, decent bar downstairs...what more could you want?
