Very comfortable bed.The room was spotlessly clean. This hotel is a good option for those who need to travel from St Pancras International on Eurostar as it is only about 3-4 minutes walk from station. Staff were also very helpful and friendly

I picked Melville because A) It was the most affordable for what I was looking for and B) It looked clean. The photos on the website make the place appear MUCH larger than it is. Our room was tiny, and my 6'3 boyfriend could barely fit in the restroom, let alone close the door if he needed some 'privacy'. We... More

I'd actually booked into the Excelsior next door, but the reception is in the Melville next door, which is part of the same group (Argyle). I arrived at 10:30am and left my bags as couldn't check in until the afternoon. After walking down Argyle street and seeing a few tatty hotels, I was pleasantly surprised by the smart exterior facing... More

Yes the room was small (very), yes the shower room was cramped with shower over toilet, yes it was up eight flights of stairs, yes we had breakfast in a nearby hotel basement and there wasn't much choice, BUT it was in a quiet square very close to Kings Cross station and it was only £104 for two of us... Stayed there for 2 nights to be close to St. Pancras station. Room was small, but clean, shower was very good, staff was friendly and helpful. Overall enjoyed it very much. Would stay there again if I ever return to the area.

I chose this hotel for overnight stay as wanted to stay close to Kings Cross. Staff were lovely. My room was in the adjoining Albion Hotel but that wasn't any bother at all. I had booked a single but I was upgraded on arrival without asking (the single, although small would have done just fine but I wasn't going to... More

Stayed here as I was catching the Eurostar early the following morning. Absolutely perfect for that. Staff were friendly and helpful at check in. Double bed was really comfortable. Nicely appointed room but not large (but good for the area). Unexpectedly good shower. Perfect for a business traveller who just wants a comfy bed and free wifi. Had a good... More

Stayed for 5 nights at the hotel. It is located near a tube. Rooms are good enough, clean and basic. Staff are very helpful. We had a room on the second floor with a veranda (I'm a smoker so this is a plus). The room was just the right size enough for four person with one luggage each. It was... More
