This is the second time for my family and I to stay in a Family room at the High Holburn Travelodge. my last stay I was left a little disappointed by the outside noise as the window didnt close properly. However the room 473 offered everything you would want from an hotel. The noise was down to the usual sounds... More

I have stayed at this hotel 3 times. I always book the family room and you are therefore put into high holborn as opposed to Drury lane. The family rooms are large and are of normal travelodge style and standard. The rooms are a little dated now however I have read that they are slowly renovating. The hotel is near... More

was staying at this travelodge which was much more modernised than its counterpart across the road in drury lane although both were clean and staff friendly and helpful. Drury lane's reception had soft leather couches near the bar but holburn only had the chairs you sat on for breakfast so rather uncomfy. The bathrooms were modernised and the room was... More

Stayed here with the family for 4 nights. Rooms clean and beds comfy. Thats where the good stuff ends. Rooms not cleaned, just clean towels, thats all. Left note about broken kettle - ignored. tea bags etc not topped up. No hairdryer. Faulty sockets - big problem when trying to charge up electronic gadgets etc. Breakfast was a disaster every... I was tempted by the Travelodge Room Sale and decided to return to this hotel once again having stayed there on a few occasions over the years. This time I had moved from a 4* nearby so it probably coloured my opinion on how spartan and soulless Travelodges can be. They do the job...just. When this hotel was new and... More

My previous visits to travelodge covent garden ( high holborn) have been good , the rooms allocated then were facing the high holborn street, they were ok . But a word of warning to you if you visit now , On the 3rd and 4th of january 2012 ,my rooms were 614? and 1366 ,both facing museum st / near... More

Stayed here for 2 nights to attend an interview. Although the place was difficult to find despite having a printed google maps with me, I have to say it might be the same anywhere in central London. The rooms are a bit outdated and the reception staff are not the friendliest. Lot of restaurents nearby to suit any taste.

This hotel remains valur for money given the location but the mattresses were absolutely terrible. We changed rooms after the first night and it wasn't much better! I would be reluctant to stop here again.

Although the location is fairly well placed for easy access to London attractiosn, the room was basic, didn't feel particularly clean, and over priced for what you got. As we just turned up in London it was a booking out of desparation as hadnt expected to stay here overnight. The worst part was the club outside the hotel had banging... More

We were originally allocated a room in the Travelodge Covent Garden for our event, but due to a mix-up 4 people were allocated the same room, and I moved to the High Holborn Travelodge just round the corner. The bar area is smaller, but it was more brightly-lit and felt cosier than the dim and cage-like bar area of the... More
